Lighting Concept, Supply and Custom Design and Manufacturing for Marine Hotel, Brighton Refurbishment

Marine Hotel Brighton has a rich history dating back to 1856 as an integral social meeting place in bayside, Melbourne. Recently undergoing a refurbishment with modern design, this bayside icon is set to emerge as a new entertainment destination. Marine Hotel offers a whole new spacious layout featuring a mix of casual dining options, large selection of sports screens, brand new al fresco Courtyard, function spaces and gaming facilities. The electrical contractor; MACMOR Electrical and Castello’s Group called on Aglo to complete the lighting design concept and supply of all lighting including decorative and custom exterior fixtures.

The Aglo Lighting Design team collaborated with MACMOR Electrical to develop the lighting concept, fitting selection and relevant adjustments on site for the project. Decorative lighting was sourced to align with the interiors and for general lighting, Mondolux Benson Adjustable Downlights, Catania Maxi Spotlights and Callisto Adjustable Downlights were specified with a warm colour temperature for comfortable illumination.

The Aglo Custom team were pleased to complete the custom design and manufacture to upgrade the decorative outdoor lighting features. The project included three custom wall light outdoor features which are showcased at the front entrance. In the back entrance, two custom outdoor wall light features and two custom outdoor floor lamps on pillars are featured. The custom outdoor lighting features were supplied in CRI90, 3000K.
