Castello’s Pakenham Hotel Bespoke Lighting

The Castello’s Pakenham Hotel is a traditional country pub offering a large bistro, lounge and sports bar. When it underwent a full renovation, Aglo Systems was called on to provide lighting design services, supply luminaires for the general lighting and develop a custom-manufactured series of ring pendants for the gaming room.

The hospitality venue brief for the custom feature required a design that could fill the space whilst integrating into the existing false ceiling structure, which restricted the weight of the proposed design. The chosen design comprises 60 mirror chrome rings accented by a halo of light. Recessed side emitting LED tape was used to create the halo effect on the matte back ring. A single suspension point allowed for flexibility to position the features randomly throughout the area.
