Luminaire Remodelling & Refurbishment for St Joseph’s College

The Aglo Custom team completed the refurbishment and manufacture of the decorative light features in the chapel of St Joseph’s College Hunters Hill, NSW. The design intent was to refurbish the existing base of the wall light and add a decorative shade to the conceal the two additional lights, which illuminated the decorative coffered ceiling. During this process the existing parts were dismantled and then sand blasted to remove the existing finish. All parts were then powder coated and rewired to ensure they complied with current SAA standards.

The decorative pendants in the corridors were designed to complement the wall light shade and provided up and down light to the walkways at either side of the main chapel. A custom circular light guide panel was fabricated for the downlight element of the pendant.  This ensured an evenly illuminated visible surface for the downlight.
