Go Vita Gymea

Track mounted Tribeca retail display spotlights were chosen for the Go Vita food store

Go Vita is a vitamin and fresh foods shop located in Gymea, NSW. The store concept brief was to evoke feelings of wholesomeness and nature using earthy natural tones and light/dark contrasts – the direct opposite to the conventional, brightly lit, no-shadow supermarket. To create a natural and crisp look, 4000k colour temperature was used to complement the concept.

The Tribeca track mounted spotlight was used in three different lumen strengths. The menu board at the front of the store was illuminated with a bright 4700lm to draw attention. 4100lm was chosen for the fresh food displays, with 3400lm selected for the main shelving in the centre of the store.

As part of the lighting design process at Aglo Systems, we used Dialux 3D and AGI32 modelling software to determine the anticipated lux levels throughout the store. This ensured that the lighting design (including beam angles, lighting positions and products) meet the client’s brief and Australian building code requirements. The fifth image to the right is an example of the Dialux 3D render.
