Derby Place in Kew, Victoria is a high-end, luxury apartment complex designed by leading Melbourne architectural practice Fender Katsalidis and built by the Crema Group. The multi-residential development of 77 premier apartments features bespoke luxury finishes, premium Gaggenau appliances and Great Dane furnishings. The Specialist Projects team at Aglo Systems worked with Acton Electrical to manage and supply a comprehensive lighting package.
Derby Place features recessed and surface mounted downlights, lowbays in the carpark & service areas, and customised project-specific extrusion that matched output and architectural requirements. Mondolux Impact 5075 extrusion was made-to-measure in a custom finish, in a variety of lengths and the exact wattage and lumen output specification to suit the different apartment types & common areas.
The fitting schedule included a specialised feature luminaire and lamp for the bathroom. As part of our lighting management service, Aglo sourced suppliers for this product which Acton Electrical engaged with directly to negotiate favourable terms and pricing.
The project spanned a 12-month duration from original RFQ to the delivery of fittings for the final floor.
